How to Create a Domain User Account in Window server 2012 r2

In this tutorial, we will create a Domain User Account in Window server 2012 r2.
Before moving forward make sure you have configure following Steps:
  1. AD DS
  2. Configure DC
  3. Join client to a domain
Let's begin...

Steps:
  • Login to you window server 2012 with the administrative right.

  • Go to tools and Active Directory Users and Computers.

  • Expand the server name.
  • Expanded.





  • Right-Click on users- New and then Users.


  • Enter First Name, Last Name, and user logon name.




  • Click Next.


  • This is a password section.
  • Enter the very secret password of your choice.
There is four option:
  1. User must change password at next login.
  2. User cannot change password.
  3. Password never expires.
  4. Account is disabled.
Choose this option according to your need.
  • Click next.


  • Click Finish.
  • User is created whose name is SRK as show below.


  • Now let's go to client machine we have created in the previous tutorial Click here.



This is a local user.
  • Click on other users.


  • Enter domain user account credentials.
My domain user name is SRK (Type yours)
and Password the is very secret.



  • Wait a few minutes and you will get this window.




  • We are signed in as a domain user.
