How to remove client PC from Domain Controller

In this tutorial, you will learn how to remove client PC from DC.
Let's begin...
- Log in as Domain User in your Client Machine with your very secret Password.
- Go to This PC and Right Click on This PC and then click on properties to open system properties.
- You can see your details here.
In my case,
Computer Name: DESKTOP-I144F3Q
Full Computer Name : DESKTOP-I144F3Q.Sanima.com
Domain: Sanima.com
Note that I am currently joined to Sanima.com Domain. Now let's remove this client PC from Domain Controller.
Follow the following steps to remove the client PC.
- Click on Change Settings.
You will see something like this saying
Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?
- Enter an admin user and password.
- Click OK.
( you will see the System Properties dialog box ).
- Click OK.
- You may be asked to confirm Changes.
- Enter the name and password of an account with permission to remove the computer from the domain.
- Enter your very secret Password.
- Now you will see Computer Name/ Domain Changes dialog box.
- You will see Computer Name / Domain Changes dialog saying
After you leave the domain, you will need to know the password of the local administrator account to log in to your computer. Click OK to continue.
You must restart your Computer to apply these changes.
Before restarting, Save any open files and close all programs.
- Now you can see that you are a member of WORKGROUP.
Finally, we have removed Client PC from Domain Controller.
